Archer came into my life when he was about six weeks old. He was hand chosen with the idea in mind of being a therapy animal; as a young therapist, and what I personally knew of attachment assist with human surrogates, he began his journey to offer love and support, not only to me, but those in my practice. He is not the gentle giant that goes from bed to bed in hospitals. Instead, he was trained to be the "cool kid." He lunges high into the air for frisbee catching, he climbs into tree houses and comes down the slide, he sits, he spins, he closes and opens doors, he speaks, he rolls over, he jumps through hoolah hoops . . . he is a performer--he wants to make you smile; his commands in disobedience have evolved into off-leash trust. He spent his early years making a great many happy. Today, he is six. And while he does not access patients much anymore, he spends his time in "dad's" office just in case--if he's in the building, ask. He would love to say hello!
As for the logo . . . because he is such a special guy and was with me from the start, I placed him front and center to be honored for all time.
