Each year, Brightwood offers a $1000.00 scholarship to a social work major who demonstrates service, compassion, and dedication to the field. To apply, submit an essay demonstrating your representation of the six core values: service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence . The deadline for the next award is July 1, 2025. Submissions should be sent to mmcneil@mybraingroup.org.
Ethan Tate
Ethan is freshman at Southeastern Louisiana University and is from McComb, MS. He actually worked as an administrative assistant for the Brain Group where he honed his passion for the discipline. Ethan graduated from North Pike High School and is the son of Lori (a social worker herself) and Jason Tate.
